Central provinces all poised to welcome tourists
As part of the provinces’ national tourism year, Tourism Companies in Quang Nam and Da Nang are all set to tailor attractive travel tours to lure tourists thronging to enjoy their summer vacations
|
Tourists will have chance to traverse the legendary Truong Son route to visit historical sites such as Ro village. Giang wharf, Kham Duc airport, Hoi village, Lo Xo hill, and Monique waterfall.
What is more, tourists will have themselves learning about traditional carnivals and customs of ethnic minorities settling down across the Truong Son route as well as enjoying their unique art performances featuring “Cong Chieng” (gongs) displays.
Bamboo-made musical instruments and other manufacturing tools of ethnic minorities are also being introduced to tourists.
In Gung village, 80 km eastward of Da Nang city, tourists will make a stopover at the village’s Guoi house and listen to the 80-year-old artist Ating Veh lecturing about the preservation of traditional art. He is also expected to perform several musical instruments.
If heading for Tien Phuong commune, Tra My district, another gongs performance displayed by Ca dong people’s village patriarchs and youth is ready to entertain tourists.
Arriving at Giang wharf and Ro village where peoples of Co Tu and Gie Trieng are living, under sparkle lights, tourists are likely to be absorbed in mesmerized dances performed by ethnic girls in their traditional clothes.
Peoples of Gie Trieng, Co Tu, and Ca Dong have been known for their sacred offering ceremony taking place May annually to mark a successful harvest.
In addition, Cor people in Tra My district have their own ceremony in which the buffalo will be offered to the deity by the end of their kitchen-garden crop.
Added to that, Bh’nong people in Kham Duc district have uniquely featured the victory festival and the unique custom of “seizing husbands” with pole decoration and buffalo-stabbing stake being their core artistic works.
With the imposing Truong Son mountain and the newly-launched Ho Chi Minh route, tourist can make their stopovers at many sites like Lo Xo hill, Monique waterfall, and untapped woods to behold beautiful views as well as take photographs.
Especially, in districts of Nam Giang and Dong Giang, original food such as “lam” rice cooked by bamboo culinder, “ba kich” wine seasoned with healthful plants, and “ta vat” wine fermented with “ta vat” fruit are expected to intrigue tourists a lot thanks to their special tastes.
