Martin Yan's and Bobby Chinn's cooking presentation will be the one of the most interesting parts of "Taste of the World 2012," an international food festival held in Ho Chi Minh City from December 12 to 16.
The duo chefs' culinary performances will take place on December 12 and 15 at September 23 Park.
Yan shot to fame since his cooking show "Yan Can Cook" premiered in 1982 and Bobby Chinn is famous for hosting BBC's "Saturday Kitchen" and "Bobby Chinn Cooks Asia" for Discovery.
In addition to the cooking show of Yan and Chinn, the gala of both local and international leading chefs will feature their five-star hotels' unique cookery and fame through the fine-dining theme "Christmas Party."
At least 80 food stalls belonged to 50 companies and consulates of 25 countries and territories will participate in the festival, which is co-organized by the city's Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Tourism Association.
The participants will introduce their traditional cuisine and cultures, local cooking products, food decoration and cooking art.
The festival also underlines the variety Vietnamese "wrap and roll," veggie dishes, as well as the first-ever fest of "lanterns" made from water-melon carving.
The bartender's performance is also the new feast of this year's food fest.
The seventh edition of the festival will also showcase some outdoor folk performances and traditional costumes of the involved countries.
