Vietnam’s first safari park opens on Phu Quoc Island

A 500-hectare safari park officially opened on the southern resort island of Phu Quoc on Thursday.
Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc, as the park is officially known, is the first safari park in Vietnam and is part of real estate conglomerate Vingroup's Vinpearl resort complex.
It now has around 3,000 animals of 150 species imported from different parts around the world such as Bengal tiger, Arabian oryx, addax antelope and black-and-white ruffed lemur.
The park plans to import more animals after the opening.
It will be divided into different areas, including the South America-Amazon, the Wild Africa, and the Night Safari.
