Vietnamese resort stays in top ten

Life Heritage Resort Hoi An on Vietnam's central coast has been placed among Asia's top ten resorts for the second year by readers of Condé Nast Traveller.

The magazine's annual survey published this month ranks the resort in ninth spot, after its debut as one of Asia's top ten resorts in the Readers' Choice Awards of 2010.

The Hoi An resort shares this year's honors with, among others, three Four Seasons resort, the world's leading operator of luxury hotels and resorts.

Life Resorts also owns and operates resorts in Ha Long on the far north coast and Mui Ne in Binh Thuan Province on the lower central coast.

The 2011 Readers' Choice Awards polled more than eight million votes from 28,876 readers who rated the properties in six categories: activities/facilities, food/dining, location, overall design, rooms and service.
