A group of men ride horses through Da Lat to promote VietJetAir's new route connecting the town with Ho Chi Minh City
VietJetAir launched a new route connecting bustling Ho Chi Minh City and the Central Highlands resort town of Da Lat on Saturday.
VietJet launched the new flight with great fanfare: a parade of 30 horses and performers rode through downtown Da Lat.
With seven flights per week, the 40-minute flight departs daily from Da Lat at 9:45 a.m. and returns from HCMC at 11 a.m.
This is VietJetAir’s third route to the flower town of Da Lat, after the first from Vinh and the second from Hanoi.
Also on Saturday, the carrier opened a new ticket office in Da Lat. It is located at 2-4 Tran Quoc Toan Street.
VietJetAir currently operates 23 domestic and international routes with more than 600 flights per week.
