Vietnam's private low-cost carrier VietJetAir used scantily clad women to launch a new domestic route connecting the north-central town of Vinh and the Central Highlands resort town of Da Lat on Thursday.
Some 1,080 seats will be available each week with one flight each on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
The 90-minute flights depart from Vinh at 8:05 a.m. and return at 10:10 a.m.
Da Lat, also known as the country's "flower city," is a tourism destination thanks to its cool weather, pine-tree covered hills, lakes, waterfalls and French colonial villas.
To promote the new route, Miss Fashion Truc Diem and the airline's cabin crew performed in the aisles wearing bikinis made of flowers on the first flight to Da Lat.
