Vietnam airline to fly to Singapore

Private carrier VietJet Air said it is set to start flying between Ho Chi Minh City and Singapore on May 23.

The daily flights would  depart from Tan Son Nhat International Airport at 8:50 a.m. and from Changi International Airport at 12:40 a.m. (Singapore time).
Desmond Lin, development director of the carrier, said: “VietJet launches the HCMC-Singapore route in order to meet the demand of leisure and business travelers as well as students.”
Tickets for the new route are on sale online and at VietJet’s booking offices and sales agencies nationwide.
It currently operates on 23 domestic and international routes.
