VietJet to expand wings to Cambodia, Taiwan

Private carrier VietJet Air plans to launch a new route connecting Hanoi with Siem Reap in Cambodia next month and another route between Ho Chi Minh City and Taipei in Taiwan in December.
The Hanoi-Siem Reap route will kick off on November 3. With seven round-trip flights per week, the flight will depart daily from Hanoi at 5:15 p.m and from Siem Reap at 8.05 p.m.
The flights will take one hour and 50 minutes.
Meanwhile, the HCMC-Taipei route will operate five round-trip flights per week starting from December 12.
The service will depart from Ho Chi Minh City at 2.30 p.m. On the return leg, the flight will depart from Taipei at 8 p.m. The flights will take three hours and 25 minutes.
On this occasion, VietJet said it would give away 3,000 complimentary tickets for the HCMC-Taipei route.
Travelers can avail of this promotion by booking via the carrier’s website (www.vietjetair.com) or its Facebook page (www.facebook.com/vietjetairvietnam) from October 20 to 22.
