Private carrier VietJet said it will increase the frequency of its flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Bangkok, Thailand to two per day on September 12, owing to high passenger demand.
With two round-trip flights per day, the route will have a capacity of more than 5,000 seats per week, the airline said in a statement.
The new schedule will see VietJet flights depart from Ho Chi Minh City at 11:05 a.m. and 2:05.p.m. Returning flights will depart from Bangkok at 1:50 p.m. and 4:35 p.m.
The flights will take 90 minutes.
VietJet currently operates 27 domestic and international routes with a fleet of 15 Airbus aircraft.
