If you have been planning a tour around Vietnam, but yet to find time or money to do it, you may have some of your desire quenched with these panoramic pictures captured by a Switzerland-based company.
Using the currently trendy technology of 360 degree aerial panorama, GlobalVision Communication has uploaded on its website pictures of famous destinations in Vietnam, including Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Ho Chi Minh City, Hue, Ninh Binh, and Phan Thiet.
The pictures, which were taken from drones, or unmanned aerial vehicles, provide you with not only the bird's eye view of the places, but also their background information retrieved from Wikipedia.
You can adjust the pictures to get different view of the places, or jump to several local destinations like UNESCO-recognized Trang An in the northern province of Ninh Binh.
It would take them between one-two days and a week to finish a picture, including taking photos and processing them, said CEO Jan-Mathieu Donnier of the company, which opened a subsidiary in Ho Chi Minh City in 2010.
