Tourism expo to promote four nations as one destination

The 7th International Tourism Expo Ho Chi Minh 2011 (ITE-HCMC) will be held from September 14-17 at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center.

Themed "Four countries, one destination", the event will promote multilateral tourism co-operation between Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar.

An annual international tourism event that debuted in 2005, ITE HCMC 2011 aims to attract more than 200 tour operators, airlines, hotels and tourism service providers as well as other stakeholders from many countries in the region and beyond, providing a space and platform  to promote and exchange tourism products and services.

The expo will include a "tourism market" where local and international companies can promote their products to individual clients.

Free bus rides will be provided by the organizers from the downtown area to the site in District 7.

The event is organized by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
