Russian airliner Nordwind Airlines has launched a new flight route connecting Nizhny Novgorod city to Cam Ranh town in the central province of Khanh Hoa.
The first flight will be landed in Cam Ranh, 30 kilometers from the famous tourist town Nha Trang, on October 25, said Phan Le Hoan, director of the Cam Ranh International Airport.
Some 290 passengers will be able to fly the route once every 13 days.
The flight will take around 10 hours.
Another Russian airliner, Vladivostok Air, previously opened two flight routes connecting the Russian cities of Vladivostok and Khabarovsk to Cam Ranh in late 2010.
Late last year, another flight route connecting Chelyabinsk and Cam Ranh was opened
Cam Ranh Airport became an international airport in December 2009.
