Premier restaurants in Vietnam Central Highlands resort town Da Lat are serving dinner for what they say are reasonable prices.
It costs VND650,000 (US$31) net a person for a three-course set menu including a glass of wine and cheesecake for dessert at the Da Lat Palace hotel's French restaurant Le Rabelais.
The promotion, serving pumpkin cream soup, vegetables and mashed potato, avocado salad with French dressing or roasted chicken leg with curry sauce, is valid until April 10.
Le Café de la Poste restaurant at the hotel is also offering an "˜East meets West' set menu until April 10 for just VND390,000 ($19) net per person, including a glass of wine.
The menu aims to strike balance between local fresh produce and the French chef's selection of spices, serving bouche, pumpkin cream soup, grilled chicken breast with mushroom sauce served with mashed potato and vegetables or grilled seafood in passion fruit sauce served with fried rice and vegetables, and fruit tart.
A simpler lunch is available at the hotel's Clubhouse until April 27 for only VND169,000 ($8) net per person.
The hotel is also offering a 20 percent discount on all beverages between 4 and 6 p.m. every day.
