Legend Hotel Saigon will be well-decorated for the Tet (Lunar New Year) on January 23, adorned with red lanterns, miniature kumquat bushes, ochna bonsai, and peach blossoms.
On January 23 there will be a lion dance in the lobby from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., followed by ceremonial offerings to Heaven, Earth, deities, and ancestors. The fake lions will also go through the entire hotel, visiting each restaurant and bar of the hotel to deliver New Year blessings.
From January 22 to 25, the hotel's Atrium Café will feature a spectacular Tet buffet, serving traditional holiday specialties from all over Vietnam.
Visitors can enjoy delicacies such as the glutinous rice cakes bánh chưng, bánh tét, braised pork, paste made from pig's head, pickled welsh onion and scallion heads, besides different kinds of soups and salads.
All dishes will be complemented with free flow beverages, including soft drinks, coffee and tea for lunch, and assorted wine, beer and cocktails for dinner.
The buffet is priced at VND500,000 (US$24) for lunch, VND720,000 for Sunday brunch and VND840,000 for dinner.
Children between four and 12 eat for half-price.
