Low cost carrier Jetstar Pacific on Monday launched its first flight between Ho Chi Minh City and Phu Yen’s Tuy Hoa Town to cater to increasing tourism demand to the central province.
The flight carrying nearly 180 passengers arrived at Tuy Hoa Airport on an Airbus 320 at 3:40 p.m. Monday after one hour.
The airline has three return flights every week on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, departing HCMC at 2:40 p.m. and Tuy Hoa at 4:15 p.m.
Le Hong Ha, Jetstar Pacific CEO, said Tuy Hoa links to popular destinations in Phu Yen.
“We always aim to open new services to tourism destinations. Now travelers have a chance to discover popular destinations like Ganh Da Dia, Dai Lanh Lighthouse, Nhan Mountains, O Loan Lake, Hon Chua Island, Vung Ro Bay and Xuan Dai Bay.”
Jetstar Pacific said that nearly 5,000 passengers have booked their tickets on its new route.
