With a coastline stretching over 3,200 kilometers and many beautiful beaches, Vietnam is definitely an ideal destination for diving.
The sport was introduced in Vietnam around a decade ago. Its popularity has been growing rapidly in recent years with the increasing number of training centers in Nha Trang and Phu Quoc, the most popular dive sites.
At first the centers attracted mostly foreigners, but more and more Vietnamese have started joining the sport.
There are two types of diving: scuba diving and free diving. For Vietnamese, scuba diving is more popular, particularly among beginners.
