InterContinental Saigon marks 5th anniversary in September

The award-winning InterContinental Asiana Saigon is celebrating its five years of hospitality next month with exclusive culinary services.
Executive Chef Roberto Mancini and the hotel’s culinary team will be offering a true feast for the senses, designed to include all aspects of the hotel’s culinary legacy since it started serving on September 9, 2009.
During the anniversary celebration, all guests will be offered a Champagne package at the renowned Market 39 restaurant.
One can enjoy free flow Veuve Clicquot Champagne every evening when dining at Market 39 for an additional VND555.000++ (US$26).
The restaurant serves contemporary delicacies from fresh and fine ingredients from around the world for VND899.000++ ($42) per person including free flow of selected house wines, Tiger draught beer, soft drinks and signature cocktails between 6 and 10 pm from Monday to Thursday, and for VND980.000++ ($46) the other nights.
Yu Chu restaurant meanwhile will be serving five signature dishes including hot and sour seafood soup, wok fried prawn with milk sauce and curry leaves, beef tenderloin with black pepper sauce, wok fried chicken with dried chili and cashew nuts Kung-po style, and a mixed dish of roasted duck, chicken soya and BBQ pork.
Each costs VND110,000++ ($5) and will be available daily for both lunch and dinner throughout September.
Italian restaurant Basilico will introduce a three course set menu with a selection of appetizers, pasta and main course at the price of VND450,000++ ($21) a person including a glass of wine. The meal will be served from 6 to 10 pm every day through September.
The hotel’s spa has also introduced the 90-minute “Beautiful Package” for the occasion. Using traditional herbs and plants, the package price starts from VND1.39 million a person.
InterContinental Asiana Saigon won various honors last year, listed among the top 25 luxury hotels in Vietnam by TripAdvisor and top 25 business hotels in Asia by Smart Travel Asia, and named Vietnam’s Leading Hotel by the World Travel Award.
The hotel also nailed the second place in the Energy Efficient Building contest held by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and was recognized by Ho Chi Minh City tourism department as the best MICE hotel in the city.
