The InterContinental Hotel Group is offering special rates for first-time customers at its new property in central Vietnam's Da Nang.
Customers to the InterContinental Da Nang Sun Peninsula Resort will enjoy the rates starting from US$220 per room per night until January 1, 2013, including daily buffet breakfast for two, wifi access, 10 percent off dining at the resort's Citron Restaurant, Barefoot Café or Long Bar, and shuttle bus service into Da Nang downtown and Hoi An Town.
The resort locates in rainforest-covered mountain slopes on the Son Tra Peninsula and has a private bay, only a half-hour drive from Da Nang International Airport, and a few kilometers from the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Hue, Hoi An and My Son ruins of Champa.
All 197 of the resort's rooms, suites and villas of at least 70 square meters each, offer views of the sea.
The resort is the latest creation of Asia's celebrated resort designers Bill Bensley. The design combines traditional and contemporary designs with the pristine surrounding landscape.
It's signature restaurant, La Maison 1888, will be served by three-star Michelin chef Michel Roux, the founder of The Waterside Inn, a renowned restaurant in the UK.
The resort has two other restaurants, two bars, several outdoor pools and a spa, in addition to many entertainment and recreation facilities including those for children.
