Hotel Nikko opens in Vietnam metro

Hotel Nikko Saigon held its opening ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City on December 18. The five-star property, owned by Fei Yueh Vietnam Co., Ltd., is the group's second in Vietnam after Hotel Nikko Hanoi, which opened in August 1998.

Hotel Nikko Saigon is in the newly-built Royal Center Project commercial complex on Nguyen Van Cu Street.

It has 23 floors and three basements with 334 guestrooms and 53 serviced apartments.

The guest rooms are a spacious 40 square meters, larger than most other hotel rooms in the city, with an LCD TV and a washlet.

The dining options include all-day restaurant La Brasserie, which serves excellent international cuisine including Japanese, a Chinese restaurant named Ming Court, and The Lounge in the lobby. Guests staying on the Nikko Club Floor, the 21st and 23rd floors of the hotel, will receive additional privileges such as complimentary access to the Nikko Club Lounge, where breakfast, afternoon tea, and snacks will be offered.

To celebrate the opening, a special package is currently being offered in all room categories, and will be available until January 31, 2012.
