Visitors to Da Nang will have a chance to see the central city's popular attractions from above as a new helicopter tour service is set for an official launch in April.
Vietnam Helicopter Corporation said the tour will be offered to all tourists starting April 24.
The company launched its first maiden flights Tuesday, carrying its guests including Da Nang leaders for a sightseeing tour.
Spokesperson Pham Ngoc Diep told VnExpress news website that a trip of between 15 and 25 minutes will cost between VND2.5-3.5 million (US$125-$175) per passenger.
Tourists above the most beautiful sights in Da Nang, including Son Tra Peninsula, Ngu Hanh Son Mountain and Hai Van Mountain Pass.
“We have already launched many helicopter tours in Ha Long, Phu Quoc and Nha Trang,” said Diep.
He said the company will start using modern helicopters that can take six tourists on one trip.
The company plans to offer tours to Ly Son Island in Quang Ngai Province, Cu Lao Cham in Quang Nam Province and Son Doong, the world's largest cave in Quang Binh Province.
