French feast at Hotel Equatorial

Hotel Equatorial will celebrate French food with a two-day festival on October 25 and 26 called "Balade en France" (Jaunt in France).

For one ticket, guests can have five traditional French dishes, including raclette and fish soup, three desserts, five glasses of wine, and a glass of cider. A selection of famous wines from Bordeaux, Côtes du Rhône, the South West, and Languedoc, and Loire.

The ticket is designed as an passport, included information about the name of the food and which restaurant the food came from.

There will also be some voucher attached in the passport, allowing guests to use at some partner restaurants of Hotel Equatorial.

Apart from the food and beverage, this year event, taking place from 6 p.m.- 11 p.m., will see two live concerts, a fashion show, a dance show, a DJ, and playground for the kids. A lucky draw will also be held during the event with prize up to VND5 million, said CCIFV's director Guillaume Crouzet.

The event is registered on the official program of the celebrations for the 40th anniversary of the reestablishment of the diplomatic relations between France and Vietnam, and received the support from the French Ministry of Agriculture, Agrofood and Forest and the French Consulate in HCMC.

Tickets cost VND570,000 if booked in advance and VND700,000 on the day of the event. It is VND200,000 for children under 14 and free for those under five.

The ticket can be found at the CCIFV, Hotel Equatorial, Exotissimo agencies, Air France agencies and at the Equatorial's partner outlets and restaurants in the city including Vatel, Annam Gourmet, Papagayo, Sava Gourmet shop, La Creperie, Fanny, Daloc, Red Apron, Tan Khoa, Phu & Em and The Warehouse.
