One of the city's most famous Japanese restaurants will offer 10 dishes and four beverages including seafood roll with mayonnaise, Japanese fried egg, bacon wrapped asparagus and sausage, oden (a winter dish consisting of several ingredients like boiled eggs, daikon radish, konnyaku, and processed fish cakes stewed in a light, soy-flavored dashi broth), seafood mix, udon salad, isobe maki (seaweed-wrapped roasted sticky rice), Kinako Mochi (mochi coated with soy flour), sanma fish baked with salt and sanma sushi.

All of them will be made by Vietnamese chefs at Tokyo Town who are trained to cook Japanese cuisine.
Since the program will also mark the 40th year of bilateral diplomatic ties, it will roll out the red carpet to Vietnamese guests.

Every table with a Vietnamese guest will be served two free dishes they can choose from the menu along with one beverage.

The Vietnam-Japan Friendship Year will continue with a series of cultural, sports, and educational activities held in the city through the year.

Also at the exhibition, Japanese chefs will take part in the fifth Vietnam Culinary Challenge organized by the Saigon Professional Chefs Guild to present cooking techniques.
