October promotions at the Ho Chi Minh City’s luxury five-star hotel includes a tour through Argentinian wine, classic French cuisine and a Halloween night on its rooftop bar.
A tour of trapiche vineyards
Grapes grown on the foothills of the Andes Mountains and ripened under the Argentinian sun are the stars of a one-night wine encounter at Caravelle.
This October 9 at 7 p.m., wine enthusiasts are invited to explore the flavours of the famous Mendoza region’s Trapiche Winery in a four-course gourmet menu at Reflections Restaurant on the third floor.
The evening will feature the winery’s acclaimed Iscay Malbec–Cabernet Franc and Iscay Merlot–Malbec among others. This ‘Taste of the Andes’ by Trapiche Winery Export Director, Mr. Pablo Ananda Hynes is priced at VND1,480,000 net.
A classic French lane
French cuisine conjures images of all things classic—from the sophisticated manner of its presentation to distinct flavors that linger long after the meal is over. To pay homage to this cuisine, Reflections invites guests to sample the finest French delicacies in “The Past on a Plate.”
From October 25 to 31, guests can sample such dishes as Escargots a la Bourguignonne (snails baked in garlic herb butter), Quenelles de mousse du Saumon (salmon mousse with lobster sauce), tradition pâté de Campagne (French country style pork and ham terrine served with brandy marinated stewed cherries) as appetisers at Reflections Restaurant.
For the mains, Chef Darren Watson has created masterpieces including Navarin d’Agneau (lamb stew), Confit de Canard (duck confit served on onions, potatoes and apples) and Hachis Parmentier (braised pulled beef served with duck liver).
A three-course meal is priced at VND810,000 while a four-course meal is priced at VND938,000. Price is subject to 5 percent service charge and 10 percent VAT.
A frighteningly good Halloween night at Saigon Saigon Bar
Brace yourself for chills and thrills while rocking at Saigon Saigon Bar Nightmare on October 31 on the rooftop via ninth floor. This is the scare-fest night event to be seen—and screamed.
The night includes a specially created Halloween-themed drinks list guaranteed to get all the ghouls in the mood to party. A hauntingly good food menu too has been prepared for this event. Other electrifying thrills include games set in a backdrop to get your spooky thrills on.
One dinner buffet voucher for two persons will be given as a prize to the “Spookiest Star of the Night”, so be sure to dress to win.
