To welcome Lunar New Year, Can Tho museum is hosting the "Sac xuan miet vuon" (Colors of a spring garden) festival in the middle of January, the Tuoi Tre newspaper reported.
This festival promotes the handicraft villages and traditional Vietnamese, Chinese and Cambodian food.
On this occasion, audiences have the chance to learn about traditional woodcarving, mat weaving and calligraphy.
Traditional music with "Don ca tai tu" (a genre of southern folk music) troupes will enchant audiences who also have the opportunity to try diversified foods associated with Lunar New Year.
"Colors of a spring garden" festival takes place at the Can Tho museum January 14 -16.
