Vietnam's first balloon flight for tourists will begin operating in the central coastal town of Nha Trang on Saturday, February 6.
Visitors can take in breathtaking views of the town and Nha Trang Bay from a height of 150 meters.
The 1.2 million euro (US$1.7 million) French-made balloon can hold up 30 people at a time, according to the investor, Hon Tam Nha Trang Beach Joint-Stock Company.
Each balloon flight, which will cost $10 per person and last about 20 minutes, will offer visibility over a radius of 15-20 square kilometers, the company said.
The operation hours are 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. Maximum wind force during the flight will be 35 km/h.
Anyone who has a heart, nervous, or mental condition, is inebriated or has a fear of heights is not advised to fly.
