InterContinental Asiana Saigon will offer Korean buffets in August and September prepared by guest chefs from Korea
Korean cuisine is pungent and spicy, awakens the taste buds and stimulates the appetite.
Korean food is also considered to be among the world's most nutritious, with kimchi and dishes made with seaweed being the prime examples of healthy food.
There are many restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City specializing in Korean food, which also use traditional cooking methods and decorations.
August-September is a good time for lovers of Korean food in the city to indulge themselves at InterContinental Asiana Saigon in District 1.
Together with AT Korea Agro-Fisheries and Food Trade Corporation, the hotel's Market 39 Restaurant offers the "Authentic Korean Cuisine Discovery Journey" buffet from August 19 to September 14.
There will feature a slew of authentic Korean delicacies, with a team of Korean guest chefs coming from InterContinental Seoul Coex and Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas to train the hotel's culinary staff.
Then the visitors - chefs Byung Eun Kim, Min Jae Kim, and Sang Un Jung - will whip up a feast for patrons of the buffet at Market 39 featuring kimchi, bulgogi, bibimbap, and other quintessential Korean dishes.
They will have the discretion to choose the best ingredients from Korea.
But it is not as if customers will not have a choice during the four weeks, since other foods will also continue to be available.
The buffet will be priced at VND498,000++ during lunch (not including drinks), and VND728,000++ during dinner which will include wine, beer, and soft drinks.
