A Vietnam Airlines-branded Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner just had its stunning aerial demonstration flight at the Paris Air Show 2015 on Monday.
The aircraft, with the distinctive blue and yellow lotus of the Vietnam's national flag carrier, had a spectacular 10-minute performance with a near-vertical take-off at Le Bourget airport.
Several days ago the performance also wowed the world as Boeing released a rehearsal video on YouTube.
After leaving the Paris Air Show on June 18, the aircraft will eventually enter service with Vietnam Airlines and will be one of 19 787-9 Dreamliners in the fleet.
Vietnam Airlines CEO Pham Ngoc Minh told the press that the new Dreamliner will be used for domestic flights between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City first before serving the direct service to London in the summer and to Frankfurt in the winter.
