Better Work Vietnam, a partnership program between the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), has just launched a new Labor Code application for smartphone to improve labor standards in the apparel industry.
The application will not only help garment factories better understand the law and ensure compliance, but also educate outside users on the situation of factories and the compliance challenges faced by the industry, according to a statement issued by the ILO Wednesday.
Available in both English and Vietnamese, the application offers the latest content from the fourth edition of "Better Work’s Labor Law Guide," together with a range of other features.
The app is expected to serve as a valuable reference for factory managers, HR officers and compliance staff, as well as buyers and vendors with sourcing interests in Vietnam, ILO said.
