Google CEO set to talk with Vietnamese startups in personal visit

The Indian origin CEO of Google, Sundar Pichai, will have a talk with Vietnamese businesspeople and startup community during his visit to Vietnam this week, news website VnExpress reported.
Hung Dinh, CEO and founder of Vietnamese technology startup JoomlArt, told VnExpress Pichai’s visit was personal but he would take time to talk with Vietnamese business circle.
He said details of the meeting were not revealed, but Pichai is expected to share his experience with Vietnamese startups.
Formerly Product Chief at Google, Pichai was announced as the next Chief Executive Officer of Google on August 10, 2015, as part of the restructuring process making Alphabet Inc., the new holding company for the Google company family.
Information obtained from invitation letters of Google Vietnam sent on Saturday indicates three individuals will be invited to talk directly with Pichai in the meeting.
There will only 300 people to take part in the meeting, due to be held on December 22 in Hanoi.
It will be the first time a Google’s senior executive visits Vietnam.
