The third International Vovinam Festival 2010 ended Wednesday with organizers and participants declaring it a huge success.
Third Grand Master Diep Le Bich from the Binh Thai Dao School of Kung Fu in the UK said, "There were more activities in this festival than the previous two festivals [in 2006 and 2008].
"Take the Miss Martial Arts vote for example. It will encourage more and more women to practice Vovinam." The four-day event, held in the
central province of Binh Dinh, known as the cradle of the Vietnamese traditional martial art, attracted over 1,000 grand masters and martial artists from more than 30 countries and territories.
