Vietnamese tennis stars to compete at Asia Pacific Davis Cup

Vietnam will send four tennis players to compete at the 2010 Asia Pacific Davis Cup Grade 3 in Tehran later this month.

The four Vietnamese players are Do Minh Quan, Bui Tri Nguyen, Hoang Thanh Trung and Le Quoc Khanh.

The Vietnamese players will clash with rivals from Bangladesh, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Syria and Iran at the April 28-30 event.

They returned from a practice trip in Indonesia on Tuesday (April 20) and will leave for Tehran on Saturday (April 24), three days ahead of the draw.

The eight teams of tournament will play round-robin in two groups and the two best teams from the two groups will play in the semifinals.

The two best teams of the competition will be promoted to Grade 2 next season while the worst two teams will be relegated to Grade 4.
