Hosts Vietnam finished on top at the third Southeast Asian Pencak Silat Championships that ended in Thanh Hoa Province on Tuesday.
Vietnamese pencak silat martial artists took a total of 14 gold, five silver and three bronze medals, followed by Malaysia in second place with six gold, nine silver and five bronze medals and Brunei in third with two gold, one silver and seven bronze medals.
The remaining teams from Singapore and East Timor took the last two positions, the former earning seven silver and six bronze medals and the latter taking five bronze medals.
The August 5-10 event attracted almost 100 pencak silat martial artists from five countries including hosts Vietnam.
It was the third consecutive time Vietnam won the regional martial art contest.
