Talented hopefuls from Vietnam will compete in six events at the first World Martial Arts Council Games to be held in Bangkok from March 12-22. 
The six events include Muay Boran, Muay Thai, kickboxing, Pencak Silat, Karatedo and Taekwondo.
Participating Pencak Silat martial artists are from the national team while the rest will be from clubs nationwide.
Other events at the Games include Judo, Jujitsu, Wushu, Sambo, Eskriman and Krabee.
More than 3,000 martial artists from 60 countries are expected to join the competition.
