Vietnam Motorbike Festival to launch in Ho Chi Minh City this July

With the theme of “Make your ride more colorful”, the 2015 Vietnam Motorbike Festival will be launched in Ho Chi Minh City from July 11-12 with numerous events and activities for riders in Vietnam.
An International Motorcycle Show will display more than 100 motorbikes of well-known brands, according to the organizer, Golden Times Communication.
Among motorbike brands to be displayed at the event are Benelli, Ducati, Keeway, KTM, Kawasaki, Royal Enfield and Indian Motorcycle.
A separate section will display antique bikes, with models manufactured since the 1940s.
The third annual festival will also include Arts of Speed, a bike decoration contest with unique modifications from famous workshops local and abroad.
Vietnam Ideas Challenge will offer a playground for bike designers, with the participation of several big motorbike brands that will introduce their new concept models.
Visitors can also find a motorbike or accessories at the Silk Road Flea Market that will open during the two-day event.
“Connecting the booths is a colorful avenue displaying installation arts to offer visitors an exciting atmosphere and relaxing spaces as well,” the organizer said.
The Bike Games Challenge will get visitors involved in different game shows with motorbike-related themes.
A competition will attract visitors with skillful performances from local and international stunt and drift bikers. Well-known Vietnamese racers will also compete in flat track races.
The Celebrity & Bike event will offer opportunity for visitors to witness luxury motorbikes of celebrities who will share their love and passion for bikes.
Organizers will hold an auction of the winning bike in the decoration contest to help disadvantaged children in remote areas.
The event is expected to attract more than 2,000 bikers and 60,000 visitors.
