Badminton ace Nguyen Tien Minh bowed out of the All-England Badminton Championships quarterfinals after losing straight sets to the world's No.1 player on Saturday.
It was Malaysian Lee Chong Wei's 9th defeat of Minh, ranked 8,who has won only once against the current world leader.
However, the 30-year-old Minh caused certain difficulties Wei in the game on Saturday. Minh lost 17-21 in the first set and kept up with Lee Chong Wei till it was 19-20 before Wei took match point.
Before advancing to the quarterfinals, Minh beat Chun Seang Tan of Malaysia in the first round and Verma from India in the second round.
