South Korea crushes Vietnam 6-0 at AFC U19 Championship

Vietnam's U19 football team lost 6-0 to South Korea in the group stage of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC)’s U19 Championship 2014 in Myanmar on Thursday.
Facing the reigning champion of the biennial event, Vietnam players mostly defended on home field in the first half.
At the last minute of the first half, South Korea took the lead with a score as Lee Jeong Bin had a successful shot near the goal.
Ten minutes after the second half, Kim Gun Hee scored the second goal for South Korea after getting a good pass at a clear position.
Shim Jeh Yeok scored the third goal with a header in the 60th minute.
Obviously, during the match Vietnamese players fell behind a heavyweight South Korea who has a record of 12 times claiming the championship.
Vietnam’s goalkeeper Van Truong had a fault with Shim Heh Yeok and the newly-substitute Hwang Hee Chan did not miss the chance to score the fourth goal.
In the 77th minute, Park Seong Ho, who was playing for Barcelona’s young team, scored the fifth goal after defeating Vietnam goalkeeper Van Truong.
Kim Gun Hee had his second goal in the extra time to secure a 6-0 win for South Korea in their first match in the group C.
Vietnam will play Japan on October 11 and China on October 13 in its other two matches in Group B. All two matches will be broadcast live on VTV2 and VTV6 at 4 p.m. Vietnamese time.
Sixteen teams are competing at the AFC U19 Championships’ final in Nay Pi Taw, the new capital city of Myanmar, until October 23.
