Vietnam’s national football team head coach Henrique Calisto has said he is not absolutely sure that he will sign an extended contract with Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).
Speaking to Thanh Nien in an interview by phone, the Portuguese tactician said he needs to discuss it more with his family.
After a five-hour meeting with VFF on January 19, Calisto, whose three-year contract with VFF won’t expire until March 31, asked for a 10-day vacation; but he hasn’t come back yet and his mobile phone wasn’t on until Friday (Feb. 5).
Calisto said he would come back to Vietnam on February 11 or 12.
Meanwhile, a VFF official on Friday said Calisto has asked to return about 10 days later than previously planned because he wants to take care of his wife, who needs a surgery.
