Eighteen teams from ten countries and territories will compete at the second international women's beach volleyball competition titled Khang Linh Cup in Vung Tau Town from October 7-9.

The 18 women teams are from Japan, China, Laos, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia, Hong Kong and the host country of Vietnam.

The event is regarded as an opportunity for teams in Southeast Asia to prepare for the 26th Southeast Asian Games in Indonesia in November.

Last year, ten teams from six countries and territories participated in the first edition of the competition and the Vietnamese duo, Mai Thi Hoa and Nguyen Thi Tiep, of Ho Chi Minh City's Tanimex team won the championship.
