Hoang Anh Gia Lai escapes relegation zone with 3-2 win over Hanoi T&T

Hoang Anh Gia Lai had a come-from-behind 3-2 win over Hanoi T&T to advance to 11th position out of 14 clubs at the top-flight V.League heated up by tough fights in the relegation zone, with 2 rounds to the season’s end.
Nguyen Van Mui, head of the Referee Committee, said that the league’s organizers has requested for police’s watch over the final rounds, especially decisive matches, to avoid match-fixing.

In the 50th minute, Franklin Anzite had a shot on target that hit Hanoi’s Gonzalo Marronkle to change the course of the ball that defeated goalkeeper Anh Duc.
In the 64th minute, Hoang Anh Gia Lai striker Cong Phuong, who returned from a suspension, had a pass across Hanoi T&T defenders for Van Toan to level the score.
Hoang Thien scored the third goal for Hoang Anh Gia Lai after getting a good pass from Sanogo Moussa.
With two wins in the last two rounds, Hoang Anh Gia Lai advanced to 11th position, sharing 23 points with Dong Thap and Can Tho that ranked behind.
Dong Nai, who had a 4-4 draw with Dong Tam Long An, secured 1 points and still ranked at the bottom with 18 points.
Meanwhile, Becamex Binh Duong had a 0-0 draw with Hai Phong to secure an early crown of V.League with 49 points.
