HCMC finishes top at National Table Tennis Championships

The Ho Chi Minh City players ended in first place at the 2010 National Table Tennis Championships, followed by teams from Hanoi and the Military in second and third places.

The Ho Chi Minh City players won a total of three gold, two silver and two bronze medals while the Hanoi team took three gold and three bronze medals and the Military team earned one gold, four silver and one bronze medal.

The HCMC players won the gold medals in the women's singles, women's doubles and women's team categories while Hanoi players earned gold medals in the men's singles, men's doubles and men's team categories and the Military players took the gold medal in the mixed doubles category.

The country's number one male and female players Doan Kien Quoc from Hanoi and Mai Hoang My Trang from Ho Chi Minh City successfully defended their singles titles.
