Lee Nguyen arrives at Arsenal
Midfielder Lee Nguyen of V-League club Hoang Anh Gia Lai arrived at the English Premier League club Arsenal in London on Monday for a few weeks of training.

The Vietnamese American will train with the Gunners’ second team for three or four weeks.

All his club has to pay for the invaluable experience is the cost of the round-trip flight.

After passing through Heathrow Airport, Lee was taken to the Arsenal Village Hotel, where he will stay for the duration of his stay.

Lee moved to Hoang Anh Gia Lai from the Danish club Randers in January this year on a three-year contract.

His teammate Datsakorn Thonglao didn’t fly to the London club as planned as the Thai international had asked to stay home at the last moment to look after his sick child.

Thonglao’s three-year contract with Hoang Anh Gia Lai ends next year, so he will not accompany his other teammates who will probably train with Arsenal at the conclusion of the 2010 season.
