He will train 40 players chosen from eight schools in the province and donate 1,000 footballs to provincial authorities.

Zidane will also play a charity match with leading players and film stars from Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia at the Chiang Mai municipal stadium.

The "Adidas Impossible Match" will feature past and present Thai football stars like Piyapong Piew-on, Kiatisak "Zico" Senamuang, and Tawan Sripan, and actors Saksit Thaengthong and Somchai Khemklad.

Entry will be free for spectators.
