The upcoming final is the last football match in the 2006 season in Vietnam after DTLA took home the title of the top-tier V-League which had concluded on August 20 and Dong Thap winning First Division 2006 closing on August 19.
Vietnam’s National Cup 2006 is the result of participation of 27 teams from V-League and the second-tier First Division of the country.
