The Hue police Sunday said they have arrested a Viet kieu who allegedly killed another bargoer after drinking at a local bar the previous day.
Vietnamese-American Ha Cuong, 49, was at the Zen Beer Club with a friend when he noticed a stranger at the next table “vulgarly gazing” at him, he told the police later.
Cuong then walked to the man’s seat, allegedly took out a knife from his pocket and stabbed him twice in the thigh.

Doctors said the knife had severed a major artery in the thigh, causing death.
The police said Cuong, badly drunk when taken to a local police station, asked to sleep right at an officer’s desk after being interrogated.
