A woman in Hanoi was arrested Tuesday after police found she had hired people to attack two South Korean colleagues who she had conflicts with.
Police said Doan Thi Lieu, 25, had hired two local men Nguyen Van Hai, 29, and Trinh Quoc Huy, 24 years old, for VND20 million (around US$1,000) to beat up her colleagues. Both men have also been arrested, local news website Dan Tri reported.
It said Lieu was a human resources department employee at a South Korean firm, where she had conflicts at work with Yi Won Gun and Kim Jun Ho.
Lieu and the hired men allegedly waited for the South Koreans on a street on the night of October 20 last year, pushed them off their motorbikes and beat them up with bricks.
The police are continuing investigations into the case.
