A number of Vietnamese soldiers' remains have been found at a mass grave in the southern province of Dong Nai, local authorities said Monday.
Tuoi Tre newspaper quoted a representative of the Long Thanh District People's Committee as saying that since the grave was discovered on September 20, 41 bags with remains have been unearthed.
More than personal 100 belongings like sandals and bullets were also found, according to Saigon Giai Phong newspaper.
Related agencies are trying to identify the number of soldiers' remains and identities.
The grave, located in a rubber grove in Binh Son Farm, was discovered by a man looking for scrap, Tuoi Tre said.
