Police in Hanoi have busted a criminal gang accused of trafficking Vietnamese women to brothels in China, rescuing four victims, news website VnExpress reported Tuesday.

Three people from the trafficking ring have been arrested, including Ta Dinh Hoan, 24, Nguyen Van Tuan, 23, and Bien Thi Huong, 28, all coming from the Central Highlands' Dak Lak Province.

Earlier on Saturday last week, the police found four women locked in a guest house in Hanoi. The women were brought from Dak Lak.

The victims have been returned to their homes and the police are looking for more people involved in the ring.
