A Vietnamese man, sole passenger in a Beechcraft 99 airplane, died along with two pilots in an aircrash in Haiti Tuesday, news website VnExpress reported.
The crash happened as the aircraft tried to land in a heavy downpour, the staff of domestic airline Salsa d'Haiti was cited by the AP newswire as saying.
Le Minh Duc, 33, and two pilots from Mexico and the Dominican Republic died in the crash.
Duc had been hired by the local partner of Vietnam's military-run telecom company Viettel to develop network facilities in Haiti, the telecom firm said.
Salsa d'Haiti was established in 2008, offering daily flights between Haitian capital Port-au-Prince and Cap-Haitien.
