The Tokyo police are looking for a Vietnamese national suspected of stealing high-end bicycles in the past few months.
Nippon News Network reported Tuesday that the police have released videos that show Nguyen Huy Tinh, 23, allegedly stealing racing bikes.
They believe Tinh had stolen 47 bikes worth around US$52,500 totally between January and May, including at least one from a parking area last month.
They are asking for the public’s help in finding the suspect, according to the report.
A TV Asahi report said Tinh is part of a gang that steals bicycles.
