Khanh Hoa police have arrested a 25-year-old man accused of sexually harassing many women on motorbikes in the central province.
Tran Dinh Thai, a local factory worker, admitted to the offense and said he did not know why he harassed them.
In late January and early February, many local women reported that they had been harassed by a man wearing a mask when riding motorbikes on Provincial Road 8 in Dien Khanh District.
A victim said she was on her way to work when a man on another motorbike touched her breast and sped away.
“I was so frightened I couldn't remember his vehicle's number. He was wearing a face mask,” she said.
Thai confessed that he had harassed many women over the past three months but “not every day.”
Police are investigating the case.
